CyberBingo's staff - growing with our bingo community

"Since 1996" CyberBingo has changed many faces.  As the pioneers of online bingo we quickly developed an exciting and unique bingo game for our members to enjoy at home.  Largely due to the avid commitment of our team!

Our games started mostly as player Vs software.  There was little interaction in chat and even less through a support team and a non-existent chat team.  I will explain this further:

We hired our first committed support member shortly after our launch in 1996 for 9 am – 5 pm weekday shifts.  It wasn’t until 1999 where CB Juan and CB Angelica joined our evening shift, thus extending our support coverage from 9 am -12am on the weekdays.  Soon after weekend support was available.  In 2001 the support shift was covered by CB Bel, completing a 24 hour support team.  Simultaneously CM Robin joined our team and became our first CM at CyberBingo.

Robin quickly took on the role of head CM and literally built an industry leading chat out from Cyberspace J.  We went from playing ‘horses’ all day (remember those days? lol) to offering an array of popular chat games that are played to date.  Robin has managed an ever growing “A” class CM team, consisting of:

CM Darlene

CM Mandy

CM Angel

CM Rose

CM Brandee

CM Melissa

CM Laura

CM Kim

CM Deb

CM Carol

CM Natalie

CM MsDarline

CM Brennie

CM Mary

CM Joel

Note:  Some members of our CM team have ventured to work in different areas of our company, however, their contribution to CyberBingo is not forgotten.  All the best, and Thank you!

Way to go in there team!  Your positive vibes in our chat room make CyberBingo ‘the’ place to play!!

To compliment our site, our support team has also grown alongside our chat team. Our support personnel are your first line of contact if you have any questions, game related issues, troubles funding, comments etc…  They are available 24 hours daily via Live Helper, Troubled Ticket and email (support@cyberbingo.com).

We encourage our members to contact our support team at any time through our Troubled Ticket (TT) system, as TTs are prioritized and will be attended to in a timely manner.

You may remember these names from the time that you were setting up your newbie account, or any other time you have inquiries on our site.  It is my daily pleasure to work alongside our dedicated support team:

CB Juan

CB Angelica

CB Joanne

CB Bel

CB Robin

CB Angel

CB Mariam

CB Anna

CB Robb

Note:  Several of our support personnel have also taken on different roles within our company.  We would like to recognize their many hours of commitment to CyberBingo and wish you well in your new undertakings.  Thank you!

I would like to thank our current support team for their integral contribution in assisting our members, day in and day out.  We are very proud to have you all as representatives of our company’s values and motto.  Great going guys!

As time elapses we will continue to offer ‘Bingo at its best’.  We have come a loooooooooooooooong way ‘since 1996’!

This has only been possible with the ongoing loyalty of our members, chat team and support personnel.  Thank you all!!

Stay tuned as the next blog will consist of a recap of the growth in our bingo games and concepts.  We will be updating our ‘about us’ page: http://www.cyberbingo.com/public/about/index.asp to compliment our accomplishments.

House Players

‘House’ players

In today’s blog session we are going to talk about a commonly used term; ‘House’ players.

A ‘House’ player is used in reference by many online bingo players as a person who works for the website or a pre-programmed robot whom’ participate in common bingo games in hopes of taking bingo wins away from the loyal members.  The robot or person therefore would increase the odds for the house (the bingo hall or casino) in an unfair manner.  Is it a Myth or is there truth behind this?

The Beginnings of a ‘house’ player

Why would such a term be created and used in online bingo?

The main reason that the term ‘house’ player has come about is because being behind the computer screen automatically creates a barrier between the player and the site.  This is something a player would never experience playing in a land based bingo hall as they are able to physically see the runners, callers and other players they are competing against.

For an online bingo site to achieve the same level of trust players must continue playing and having a good experience before they can fully trust the bingo site.  Trust is measured at CyberBingo by having a secure funding page, securing private player information, offering a 24 hr live person service, interacting with our members on a daily basis, and paying out all winnings religiously.

We also believe that players may have experienced a longer than usual losing streak while they see other players winning (sometimes quite often).  In a quick judgment one may say ‘there is no way someone can be that lucky, it must be a ‘house’ player’.  The truth however shows differently.  Each member at CyberBingo is a ‘real’ person, with a real personality that enjoys playing ‘real’ online bingo in ‘real’ life, as any other pay member at CyberBingo.  Sure, after many years of playing online bingo one may realize that there is a better chance of winning by buying more cards, carefully choose which rooms and times to play where there is less competition, and actively participate in chat games to earn extra bonus bucks to increase their playing time.  However, that just makes them a savvy bingo player, not a ‘house’ player.

Proving there are no ‘house’ players

Firstly, at CyberBingo.com you are able to see the player count and prize increment game to game.  As a consumer, you should question websites that do not show you how many players are participating in a game.  It is only fair to know your odds of winning a game based on the players playing within the given bingo room.

We showcase our big winner’s pictures and quotes on our mailers and Grandastic page. These are all ‘real’ bingo players who have won cash jackpots and can be commonly found participating in our chat room events.

We have and will continue to pay all of our winners in a timely manner no matter of the jackpot win.  Whether you win $100 or our Saturday Must play $10,000 guaranteed game you can be assured that you will be paid out within a few days.  You win it and we pay it, as simple as apple pie!

When we built the CyberBingo game we developed features that would be beneficial for our players and the website.  We are a customer satisfaction driven site and ripping people off does not contribute to the business model we follow.  Our System is simply not built with a ‘house’ player feature.  We have and will continue to invest our time on other features such as new games, new programs and new promotions that will help us grow our website further; thus giving you, the member, the best online bingo experience on the net!

CyberBingo since 1996 – Bingo at its best!

We have always been driven by giving our members an exhilarating bingo experience, the opportunity to win HUGE bingo jackpots, meet and interact with fellow members in our friendly chat rooms, benefit from our loyalty program, earn bingo game points, participate in free daily cash draws…etc.  ‘House’ players simply do not belong in this formula lol.  We benefit from being referred to our member’s friends and family based on their good experience on our site.  This is a long term belief that we have been applying since 1996.

Less established bingo sites may have a different approach to creating an online bingo community.  We will not, and need not follow their business model.  Having malicious and unfair intentions with the product you offer is not the way to grow a bingo site.  It eventually catches up with the site’s reputation and it simply does not work!  We’ve been here since 1996, so obviously we’re doing some things right J

The only ‘house’ players you will find at CyberBingo are all our players who play from their homes lol.  Get it? ‘House’ player… playing in their house J

Same Winners Win. Now You Can See Why!

Through out the years we’ve received numerous comments that the same players win over and over again and the response has always been that bingo is a game of odds, the more bingo cards you purchase the greater your chance at winning the bingo game.

Recently I had our database guy run a report that showed us the player activity in each bingo room. This report showed us the number of bingo games played in each room between a specific period and the average of bingo cards purchased per game per player along with their winning percentage.

The Purpose of this report

The purpose of this report was to help us understand the reason(s) why some players win more than other players and hopefully in return be able to use the results to create a better online bingo experience for you.

The Results

Players who played at least the minimum average cards per bingo game had a higher winning percentage than those who purchased below the average cards purchased per game.

My response was “EXCELLENT – This makes sense!” But how in the world can this report help our players?

Well the answer is simple – Why not show the average cards being purchased for each game in the bingo room in real time?

For example, let’s say you are playing in the high paying CyberBingo Diamond room for a $15,000 coverall minimum $200 prize in 75 calls and there are 40 players with one (1) minute to last call for cards, you will be able to see the average cards purchased by the 39 other players in that bingo game and if necessary purchase a few more cards to better your chance.

The Benefits to you

This way you can clearly measure your odds per game with the number of players in the game and average bingo cards purchased per player for that game.

You can then decide to buy more cards to increase your chances or play with your chosen number of bingo cards.

Will be Available Soon

This feature will be available to you in the next couple of weeks as part of our upcoming CyberBingo room updates. As we get closer to the upgrade date, I will be able to share with you more on the new upgrades and what they mean to your online bingo experience with us.

Until next time, best of luck!
